Originated as a round stone of 186 carats, it belonged to an India Rajah. In 1739, the Shah of Persia ( Iran ) bought and called it ''Light Montain'' ( Koh-i-Noor ) Recutting and built in the Queen Mary crown, George V wife latter it went to the Queen Elizabeth crown. Nowadays it is at the London Tower.
